A special train will run from Melbourne to Sydney carrying over 200 passengers who will attend the public address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Australia, the first by an Indian premier in 28 years.
On Sunday, the four-bogie train would carry almost 220 passengers from Melbourne to Sydney for the first and the only public address by Modi for Indian-Australians to be held at Sydney on Monday.
Organised by the Overseas Friends of BJP in Melbourne, the service has been dubbed as the 'Modi Express' to mark his first official visit as prime minister to Australia.
"This Modi Express will be a hell of a party time for all of the passengers," said Ashwin Bora, spokesperson for the OFBJP's Melbourne chapter.
People from several communities have booked their seats on this train, he added.
With the support of rail authorities in Melbourne, the train will be specially decorated with tri-colour balloons, Modi's posters and banners and pictures of iconic Indian locales.
Apart from this, the organisers have also arranged free food for the passengers who will be served with delicacies like 'Modi Dhokla' and 'Modi Fafda'.
Bora said the train journey would be an experience in itself as there would be music and dance troupes travelling as well to entertain the passengers.
"This is unprecedented in the history of Indian politics. For the first time a prime minister has evoked such an enormous response throughout the world akin to a rockstar. People are thronging to see him and I'm no exception to that. I am waiting to be a part of this special train journey," Anjali Tikoo, one of those booked to travel on Modi Express, said.
Modi is due to visit Brisbane for the G20 conference on November 15 and is also expected to hold a public address on November 17 for which over 150,000 attendees have already registered.
David Cameron to meet PM Narendra Modi at G20 meet
British Prime Minister David Cameron will "seize the opportunity" to meet his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for the first time this weekend during the G20 summit in Brisbane to discuss a wide range of bilateral issues, a Downing Street spokesman said.
"The Prime Minister David Cameron is set to have his first meeting with Prime Minister Modi of India at this weekend's G20 summit in Brisbane," the spokesperson said.
Cameron was one of the first world leaders to congratulate Modi following his victory in the general elections in May.
"He (Cameron) is keen to seize this opportunity for a face-to-face meeting," the spokesperson said, "to discuss the wide range of bilateral issues that underpin the strong relationship between our two countries."
Describing the agenda for the bilateral meet, to be held on the sidelines of the G20 summit, the official said: "The two leaders are expected to discuss Prime Minister Modi's vision for reform in India with his ambitious plan to develop the country; trade and bilateral relations between the UK and India, which is generating more jobs, more growth and more security for our two nations; and key international issues."
The Brisbane meet is set to strengthen the broad and deep relationship that UK and India already enjoy, building on a partnership of equals based on mutual respect, the spokesperson said.
"It follows visits by the Deputy Prime Minister, Chancellor, Foreign Secretary, Defence and Business Secretaries to India since Mr Modi was elected, and the recent visit by Sushma Swaraj, the Indian Minister for External Affairs, to attend the first ever regional Pravasi Bharatiya Divas event in London."

At Nehru's 125th birth anniversary, Rahul calls PM Modi's 'Swachh Bharat' a photo opportunity-IBN
New Delhi: The Congress party on Thursday began massive celebrations to mark the 125th birth anniversary of former prime minister Jawahar Lal Nehru in the national capital. After a drubbing in the Lok Sabha elections and Assembly polls, the party is hoping to motivate its workers and increase its cadre base through a year long event.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi addressed the conclave and hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NDA leaders were not invited for the event.
Rahul Gandhi took a dig at Modi's 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' and said, "On one hand they are cleaning the road for photo opportunities and on other hand they are spreading hate."
Last but not the least : What I feel
Same position happened when election for the state of Maharashtra and Harayana were announced. Media men frequently used to ask BJP the name of CM for these two states and used to conclude that BJP does not have any good person to head the state and neither does the party have enough party workers to ensure victory.
Media men and all opponents proved wrong and BJP proved victorious when outcome of election was announced..
All this could happen only because opponents of BJP wasted entire time on What Modi is, what Modi should and should not do , why Modi did not wear Muslim Cap, why Modi did not go to Saharanpur, where the wife of Modi is and what Modi failed to do for his wife, what Mr. Modi did not do during 2002 riots and what Mr. Modi should or should not do for 1984 riots etc.
AAP and Congress Party should rather try to present before voters their plan to do better than what BJP promises to do or BJP has done.
Please do not focus on personal affairs of Modi , this is not only for AAP or Congress Party but for media men too .
